This week’s prayer emphasis will focus on the oft-dreaded subject of waiting.  While many can quote God’s promise that “they who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength”, it seems to only be thought of when we find ourselves forced to wait — such as often has been the case over the past year.

Pray that you would learn to grow in strength and courage in the midst of your times of waiting.  Pray that you would be an example to others by the way you practice waiting with courage.  Pray that your courage would be based on the Lord’s strength rather than your own.
