“In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.”  Psalm 5:3 (NIV)

This week’s prayer emphasis will focus on the oft-dreaded subject of waiting.  While many can quote God’s promise that “they who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength”, it seems to only be thought of when we find ourselves forced to wait — such as often has been the case over the past year.

Pray that you would find joy in waiting with the expectation that God listens and answers.  Pray that you would always be confident in going to God with your requests as you wait with the expectation that He hears and cares.
