This week’s prayer emphasis will focus on the oft-dreaded subject of waiting.  While many can quote God’s promise that “they who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength”, it seems to only be thought of when we find ourselves forced to wait — such as often has been the case over the past year.

Pray that you would live life with great hope as you trust God’s help during your times of waiting.  Pray that you would have hope because of your relationship with God as you wait for the Lord.  Pray that you would be protected by the shield of God as you wait with hope.
