This week’s prayer emphasis will focus on encountering Jesus on the road of change.  A pursuit of God, and His pursuit of us, should lead us to a place where our need for a transformation of heart, mind, body, and soul is obvious.  God isn’t bringing change into our life simply for the sake of change, He brings change because we need it!  Just as our encounter with Jesus changes us, we must anticipate that the same transforming power of Jesus will change others.  Pray for the wisdom to know what God wants to change in your life, and the courage to be receptive to that change.  Pray that you would have patience with God, with yourself, and with others as the process of change takes place according to God’s will and timing.  Pray also for wisdom in knowing the things to remain steadfast in which shouldn’t change.  Pray for a daily desire to be more like Christ.

As you pray this week, ask God to help you walk a road of change with Jesus.  Pray for a spirit of humility which guides your willingness to change.  Pray for the humility necessary to allow for godly changes to take place in others.  Ask God to help you consider the needs of others as He uses you to accomplish change.
