“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”

This week we will focus our prayer time on living a new life as we value all life!  Our relationship with God, and our view of His creation of us, greatly influences the value we place on life.  Life has inherent value because it is a part of God’s creative handiwork.  We can see the result of a society that rejects God — life quickly loses value because we have nothing left to base that value on.

“For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.”
Psalm 36:9 (NIV)

 As  you pray this week, ask God to help  you know the great value you have as one who belongs to Him.  Pray that God’s presence would spring up within you as your fountain of life.  Pray that the new life you have in Christ would spring up to provide joy and refreshment to you and to those around you.  Pray that the people around you would see the light of God through you.
