This week’s prayer emphasis will be about living with a new, or renewed, resolve.  Sometimes we make new and right commitments but we lack the resolve to follow through as we ought.  God’s desire is that we set our eyes on things above and press on with a resolve to never give up.  Living with a new resolve equips us to follow through with our commitment to the things of God.

As you pray this week, ask God to help you know the things that you need to work on and to give you the resolve to press on in those matters.  Pray that your resolve to know Christ would be the pinnacle of the things you desire.  Pray that a knowledge of Christ would be the foundation for the way you interact with others.  Pray that Jesus would be the one thing you find most important to share with the people you spend time with.
