“Though you probe my heart and examine me at night, though you test me, you will find nothing; I have resolved that my mouth will not sin.”
Psalm 17:3 (NIV)

This week’s prayer emphasis will be about living with a new, or renewed, resolve.  Sometimes we make new and right commitments but we lack the resolve to follow through as we ought.  God’s desire is that we set our eyes on things above and press on with a resolve to never give up.  Living with a new resolve equips us to follow through with our commitment to the things of God.

As you pray this week, ask God to help you know the things that you need to work on and to give you the resolve to press on in those matters.  Pray for a heart that is willingly opened to God for His examination and purification.  Pray that your heart would be filled with the presence of God so that no sin would be found in what overflows through your mouth.
