Same Old, Same Old

Here is an update from yesterday’s post.

The people have spoken . . . the complaints have risen . . . the congressional representatives have been called and written to.  Something must be done for the sake of our economy, family vacations, and Hummer drivers everywhere.

The gas stations and oil companies finally got the message – a 26 cent per gallon increase in the cost of gasoline in an hour’s time was just too muchU.S. Penny

So, today’s response was welcome news . . . the lowering of gas prices on the south side of South Bend by an entire penny per gallon!

It’s time to celebrate!

  1. My theory on the reason gas went up on the 15th was, that was the day I’d heard we were all supposed to boycott buying gas! Now I don’t know if it was just an email ‘chain letter’, but that’s how I heard about the boycott. How better to beat a boycott than to raise the prices and send everyone scrambling to fill thier tanks either to beat the price increase or protect themselves from yet another one maybe tomorrow. I’m willing to bet that gas purchases were up rather than down on the day of the ‘boycott’!!

By the way, the blog looks good Tom!
